2025 OFFISHALL Vancouver- Howe Sound-Sechelt Fishing Reports Thread

Saw a small wind-ow 😉 at the tide change so I thought I'd be the one to make a test run at the hump. I can report that there are abundant numbers of 50cm fish out there eating every hoochie they can see. Not sure where their parents are though. It was nice fishing out in the open for a change at least. That's real no brainer fishing out there. God I miss it.

Started at the Waterfall yesterday morning and nothing happening after a couple hours so moved over to Grace and picked up three, one hit that didn't stick and two little guys. All action was on a 4" Pesca spoon up to 50' off bottom. No love for plugs or hooches.
Keeper sized little guys?

Lots of activity on unders for us at the Bell this morning, but only one keeper before the wind stiffened around noon. Some good bait out in deeper water and fish we kept had a 7” herring in its gut. Fish we were hitting were mostly suspended, 85’-135’ or so. Finished up the day with a long tack in the beautiful calm, and empty, waters of HITW to Newman Creek.

That Howe Sound bloom is colouring up the water pretty good, but it hasn't slowed the bite down much this year.
Found fish pretty much everywhere, but the mouth of the Sound has been producing the best on the ebb for us.
Double glow black blade with a Skinny Sink did most the heavy lifting yesterday.
15 days left...
