Managed to get the boat out Monday and fished Ambleside and the freighters to bell buoy. Only saw bait at Ambleside, nothing on the run to the bell buoy. Not even a shaker to the boat. Wanted to be the first to post a fish for 2022 .... over to you guys for that honour as I wont be on the water again until next Thursday.

Bring some costco seaweed wraps, soy and wasabi with some seasoned sushi rice, man you cant beat it fresh, prawn has a crunch and sweetness to it right out of the water ...

Looks awesome! My boy and I bring a little Tamari usually, but now that he's seen this post, he wants rice and seaweed on the boat! IMHO, this is the best sushi.

Bairdi, opilio, tanner , snow crab, all same name for two species ones just a bit bigger than the other , show up randomly in peoples pots all along the south coast, lots of the time hitchhiking on top like shown as they can’t fit in. Tasty
Yeah, it's almost like predicting the weather.

Wind easterly 15 to 20 knots diminishing to east 5 to 15 late overnight then becoming light Sunday morning.
Periods of snow changing to periods of rain near noon and ending near midnight.
