Last weekend I went out. We were bsing way out in no mans land and not really fishing that hard, but still caught a ton. In a t-shirt. Can’t really get any better than that
No chum for us yesterday, surprisingly, as my guest had a few anchovies, thinking chum would prefer bait.
No seals either where we were trolling, (green can guide tack) the suggestion was that the seals have followed the fish up the river. Thankfully this recent wave of trophy chinook have showed up to fill that void.
All the chum hit on a blue flasher, blue teaser head combo. And two of the three hit the inside rod on a turn, so I suspect they like blue and a slower presentation.
