I had 5 eggers in 450 prawn over 2 days. But I would think they will berry up soon

About 20 in that set
fished thrasher this morning throgh the tide, no luck on any keepers. Smaller fish jumping on the surface not sure what
type they were. Never set prawn traps out in that area, set in what i thought looked like a good area south of thasher in
225 to 250 ft. with no luck on a 3 hour soak. Fished 200 to 250 ft. with spoons for the salmon.

Damn man, sounds like you were right in the wheelhouse just crappy luck. That’s fishin I guess. I found my fish at Thrasher more in the 140-170’ FOW range, seems like you just missed em.

Small blueback coho . Now they we have this abundance of coho in the strait , it’s not uncommon to see them all over the surface at thrasher in Jan / February . Good to see

Got out this afternoon for the last fish of 2025. Beautiful day out there. Few boats off Hudson Rocks which was good to see. Kinda slow for us. 3 unders to the boat. 2 around 58-60cm. Lost another. Fished plug and no bananas spoon at 140’ on riggers. Dropped prawn traps. One set got pillaged and the other got partially brought up and the ******* must of gotten spooked and dropped it quick as it was tangled. 50 prawns in that set.
Can’t wait to dropping lines in 2026.
