2024 OFFISHALL Vancouver-Howe Sound-Sechelt Reports Thread

The T10 is still producing. Got these two 100 yards to the west of the can on herring at 80ft in about 180ft of water. I was on my own and had a double header while I was bringing in the big boy, but it shook it self loose. The other was a red 9lb the big guy a marble.

Lines out at first light at T10. Just wanted to catch dinner tonight so it was a pretty short trip. Nice Chinook to the boat may be about 15 pounds within 10 minutes. Caught it on the Golden Nugget flasher. Bait got a hit too, but it’s hard managing both rods when you’re solo.

Fished Sandheads this morning from 8 - 10, through the high slack around 9. Steady action all around.

4 chum (released), 2 wild coho (released), 2 chinook (1 keeper around 20lbs). Lots of fish still out there.

Spent the last of this season's anchovies and still kept getting fish on hardware. Best depths were around 55'.

North Arm to Bell from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. Nothing. Wrong tide. T10 1:30 to 2 PM. 1 unmarked Coho on sardine at 70’ DR. Sand Heads 2:30 to 3:30 PM a few more unmarked Coho. Nice Chinook lost at boat. Trolled back to T10. Intermittent action the whole way. Fish jumping all around. Lost a lot of fish today. Then a 15 lbs white Chinook landed near T10 at 80’ in 100’ FOW on anchovy. Spoons and bait about equal today.

Decided to leave the riggers off today as there was tons of crab pots around the green can , mooched 4 rods with “ shiny flashy “ XL herring . 8 am - 12 we had three chibook , 18 lbs 25lb 24lbs . 9 chum including some really big clean ones and a couple hatch coho . Beautiful day
