What's for dinner tonight ?

Continuing the home garden and ocean harvest.
Sauce of tomato, garlic, evoo, capers on fresh Hali and cheeks. Corn, beans, potatoes, (cabbage slaw with carrots and red onion not in pic.
And here is why some people in the hood don't garden

Looks great, the salmon showes no sign of over cooking, but board looks burnt. Can you explain you cedar plank cooking process for me?
I torch it over the charcoal first clean it with a brush and then soak it in water. Then throw the fish on there and cook it at a lower temp. Then I serve it right on the plank. The dark part around the salmon in the glaze getting roasted on the plank. Soy, Dijon and maple syrup. Did a very light salt and sugar dry brine for four hours first too.

I fished with D & D yesterday and although it was a slow morning, the fish we kept turned out to be a marble. Today I marinated some in maple syrup, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and lime juice. Baked it on a cedar plank, with roasted new potatoes and salad.
Very unique flesh color.

Black cod, thanks for the member who gave me the coordinates! Definitely a rich fish, needed a sauce pairing but my recipe books are for people who have days to prepare meals not minutes, fish recipe books, recommendations? One pot and under 30 minutes cooking time please!

Beans from the garden, seeds from a good friend who recently passed away that I did not get to fish with enough.
