2025 OFFISHALL Vancouver- Howe Sound-Sechelt Fishing Reports Thread

Might have been us. Managed 2 big springs and lost one good one at the boat. All on pearl glow hootchies with the rigger at 120 in 320 FOW yesterday. Also finished with a really nice 10lb hatchery coho on a green hootchie.
What boat are you in? The springs I saw netted by others were gooooood

Aquasport. Had the same idea as you thinking the afternoon is the only window this week before the wind and rain hits. Got to T 10 around 3:30 but didn’t see much action around us despite marking lots of baits. Pull line and headed south. Got the springs between 4:30~5:30 NW of the lighthouse and then it went dead for the next hour. Pull line at 6:45 and head home with a beautiful sunset in the background.

Yup!

Wifey and i fished SH from 730am to 1130am today......managed to get one nice hatch coho 7lb, at 75' and 2-springs 10lb and 12lb at 90', missed a 3rd from 100'......herring in helmet was the method of choice. Gonna bring my oldest daughter out tomorrow with the wife as well....see if we can scrape a couple more out before the rains come.
On a side note anybody know where the yellow dot on the underside of the springs comes from? Is from the a hatchery? Or does it mean its not safe to eat......lol
