Same here, but it was my buddy being and absolute knob and palming it when it wanted to run. A few fish out there dragging gear I guess.
I’m re-rigging it and it’s seeing the water tomorrow!

I’m hopeful, the last couple days have been slow for us overall compared to the last 4 years… more small fish (unders) then I’ve caught before. Question is sandheads on the ebb or run north? We’ll be off the water before the flood starts.I have a feeling that tomorrow is going to be hot, early in the morning. High tide is 6:00am. Very dark night, overcast and no moon, and lots of rain. Tomorrow morning might be good action.
Superstition is you fish sand heads on the flood and north arm on the ebb. But who really know. i have they work awesomeHave you tried these yet? They roll pretty tight and I had a fair amount of success with them out at Swiftsure. Way cheaper than bait when you can use them over and over.
Kids and fishing. Magical. Rain will stop soon.Heading out with kiddo towards T10/Sandheads for slack tide. Anybody out there this morning? Looks like the wind has shifted 180 degrees (ESE early, now NW) out in the Straight. How're conditions?
Got a truck load of snacks, salted anchovies, and white hootchies.
