I’d rather go to work than go stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the common folk snagging a couple sockeye. The yelling matches are fun entertainment tho.

Spent a couple hours at the bell today with very little action until about 11am and then the bite started. Four pinks on the boat, some pretty good size ones too. Will be great on the grill tonight. Once they started biting it really didn’t matter what we had down there. But when fishing was slow, they were more interested in bait than anything else.

Using dummy flashers and pink squirts. Fishing in the harbor east of the Bell. Don't have my trail as I'm not on the boat.

Man some of you guys are dramatic. What on earth is wrong with going out to sandheads with a friend/child. Running some pink hoochies and baggin some pinks and enjoying yourself. Especially if you live in delta/Ladner/tswassen. If you catch a spring on a pink hoochie enjoy the fight and let it go. Guys shaming other sport fisherman for fishing the mouth for a legal fish. Just take a look at the Fraser river and the war zone of nets going all the way up if u wanna shake your head.

Well said! We live in Ladner so I went out yesterday evening with the family and we caught 3 pinks out at Sandheads. We were using light spinning rods and those Tasmanian devil lures. We lost a lot of fish but the kids had a blast! Fish were jumping everywhere!

May I humbly ask for clarification when you're saying you're following the 28-7 boundry does that mean 28 - 7 is open for sox?
Any clarification on what's open for sox out there would be much appreciated.
Spent last Sunday out my newbie buddies boat teaching him and his wife the ropes I've downrigger fishingin 28-6.
Had a bunch of shakers and lost a few that were promising but landed one just under spring.
Tried some squirts but no thanks were interested. Didn't set up the dummy flashers as we had enough in our hands as it was teaching the basics.

Have you signed up for the fisheries notices from DFO? If not, you should do it.
Yes, 28–7, 28 – 1, and 28–2 are open for sockeye, but that ends Saturday night.
The 28-7 boundary that runs from Pt Grey to Pt Atkinson is the one I referred to. Try to stay inside that boundary and don’t get into the restricted killer whale zone.

Dummies at 85 and squirts at 55 & 65
Heading out tomorrow to fish south of Bowen all day- probably my only day left of the season. I’m so confused by the regs since the recent changes. What is the max number of salmon (all types) I can retain per license? I believe it is 4 total per person but want to check?
