Nice Fish!

Wow are there some nice big Coho out there! All were wild but what a hoot, one was pushing 18-20. Not so hot on the Springs, lots of Jacks devouring the bait.

spent a long day at the island today and only managed 1 spring 26lbs lots of nice coho and tons of pinks i miss reny already.

Man its tough seeing the odd one caught but with these tides and everything you hear from up and down the coast ill have to say this is the worst Aug. I have ever seen in sooke in the 25 years or so I have fished it, there have been good days and bad but it concerns me accually scares me to be honest!!!!!

Out again soon will let you know what I see.....

Well we are here now it si offically sept LOL ive been pounding sec/poss for the last 2 weeks and getting them but those fish are definattly GONE!!!!!!

out sunday, monday, and today. Nothing but nice big Coho's and feeder springs 6-8 pounds. dident even get a hit from a decent spring on any of the days. On the other hand i have never seen coho fishing this good since i started fishing sooke 11 years ago.

Back at it tomorrow.

Theres some fish around-Saw a pretty good snap about 730-8 at possession this morning.Saw 4 or 5 springs landed and I picked up a 29 plus a huge Coho that had to be pushing 18.

Your kidding me right!!!!! a good snap cmon man a good snap means every boat with a fish on 4 or 5 springs out of 50 boats does NOT consider a good snap!!!!!
Call it how it is!!!!!!!!!! its the $hits out there plain and simple absolutlly F$%^&n terrable if you want the straight goods if it was a normal Aug/early sept there would be 7 out of 10 boats coming in with at least 2 to 4 springs per boat and people who dont know how to fish even getting them .
There is a lot of GREAT fisherman and top rods coming in with nothing ill give you kudos on getting your fish but you got lucky as there isnt alot of fish out there ive been fishing out there a VERY VERY long time and this is by far the worst I have EVER seen it, both coho and chinook there were more coho in june then now and its an absolute shame to be throwing the odd coho back that are wild I see coho every day floating belly up up there YES what a great way to utilize our fishery!!!!! throwing back that you know are going to die!!!!!

Wolf is rite i just spent 3 full days out there in diferent spots and the best great snap i saw was 3 fish out of 25 boats.It is very very slow.monday the crill lady said our spring was the only spring brought back to ss and yesterday we came in around 4oclock crill guy said not one mature spring brought back.
Saying all this if you are going out to catch your tophy of a lifetime the next 2 weeks is the time just don"t expect to fillthe boat up with spring salmon.

Hey this is the fishing report page right?So let me post a reportwithout jumping down my throat.I saw(along with 20 other boats) 5 good springs caught at Possession and thats what i said-from what ive seen latley that is a SNAP.People can call it as they want-Just letting people know theres some fish around.I never said the fishing was great-I said I saw 4 or 5 fish caught from 730-8 OK?Ill be sure to check in with you next time I want to post a positive report to make sure its acceptabe(ac-cept-able).Hope your luck turns around.

Ok right on I heard of a "GREAT" snap on today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! where out on the tide lines fish were every where get out there now!!!!!!.

Sorry if I offended you morty that was not my intention but im tired of people saying what you said" a good snap" I was there and its wasnt good maybe in your eyes but not in mine So im sorry

When is hear and see top people including guides not getting ANY fish what so ever Ill tell it how i see it if you dont like it move on i am being honest and upfront thats me..

As for selling the boat you are right its time to sell it so if anyone wants a great glasply boat that is turn key and ready to go send me a pm everything is included yes you see it right the "bluewolf" is up for grabs.
