Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

I saw that DE come up as well - nice looking boat, and I bet would make a great cabin commuter/fishing boat. What's the plate/actuator that covers the prop?

I think it's a happy troller, which slows you down on the main and acts like a stabilizer when it's up. I saw one for sale on marketplace recently..

2006 Boston Whaler Conquest 255 115k cad

Trailer looks a little undersized but 280 hours total on the boat with new electronics. Another sale likely after the boat shows?

Clean looking hull.
First gen verados nobody wants. I'd say this is way off on value.
The 255s seem to sell in the 50- 90k range locally. One sold with twin optis at the bottom end of that range recently (another engine nobody wants), and last year a 255 with 2010 vintage 225 Hondas (again not very desirable) sold after languishing around for a very long time (somewhere around 75k). Another with a late model single 350 merc and kicker sold last summer somewhere in the middle of that range.
 
What years of verados are good? Someone is selling 3000 hour ones for 6k each on marketplace

Depends who you ask. I'd guess all will tell you to avoid the first gen (that's what that whaler motors are) The last handful of years of the l6 were pretty good, but certainly not as good as the v8.
