Seems clean... not mine. I haven't seen it in person. But seems reasonable

The first person to view it declined to buy it and your son told my buddy that was next in line that it was still for sale. My buddy told your son he reserved a ferry and would be there the next day. Then an hour later your son sold it to the first guy after he came back leaving my buddy with a ferry reservation paid for. Not my idea of a smooth sale in my opinion.
Dont know what to say...
It was sold to 1st person that came and looked, who also took for sea trial and left a deposit then came back to get next morning,
I can't tell you how many times he's had people message/talk to him in past when selling something and then never show up after hes waited for hrs
Deposit would have held it..

If it happened exactly like that I would not have a problem with it. First person looked at it then declined to buy it I assume they were bickering about money. Then your son offered it to buddy and he made every effort to get there and would have with full asking price in his pocket and would have dragged it away that day. In my mind as soon as your son said it was still for sale the first guy coming back should have now been second in line. That’s all I’m saying. As for a deposit that wasn’t asked for to keep his appointment. This is all I have to say about this situation. Just some advice to everyone is to treat everyone as you would like to be treated. I think the world would be a much better place if we all did this.

Can you take this to a new thread? We’re really not coming here to get updates on your buddy’s failed boat-buying mission.

this was my boat, The first person to view it bought the boat. Your “buddy” said he would “ most likely buy it”. People don’t have time to wait around for people with the amount of flakey people in today’s markets. If your friend is that upset about his $18 loss please contact me with his info and I’ll e transfer him $20 so he can buy himself some tissues

Nice to hear the other side. A common theme in “boat buying help” threads from those who have bought from an owner before is to send a deposit asap. Lesson learned.

I already said that was all I have to say about this situation in my last post. Now look at what you have made me do. These posts are very pertinent to this thread as I guess if you’re going to buy anything from someone you have to send money to hold. Even if the guy selling might be scamming (which is not the case with the sale I have been talking about) good stuff to know. Now I WILL NOT respond again to this thread.

I don't what you don't like about the Coldwater Kaelc,it looks pretty sweet to me and I'm not a tinny guy.Pretty impressive numbers running the 2-400 Merc's on a 18000-22000 lb. boat.Or were you comparing the Lux Marine to the Coldwater?

Sorry, I was referring to the Lux. I think the Coldwater is very impressive. The Lux 26 foot alum "This boat is designed in conjunction with naval architect Teknaval. It’s self bailing, beautifully finished and completely overbuilt with a 1/4” hull. The ultimate guide boat set up and ready to fish." It looks like a wicked boat but lots of good guide boats out there. I love the coldwater's fish cleaning trough, reminds me of commercial fishing days watching the sunset go down and cleaning salmon in an aluminum trough, tough on knives but great on the back.

Nice boat, I'd be looking for twins and maybe a little more power. Interesting to have the remote steering on a CC too.
