Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

I was trying to get away with a CC but she wants a hardtop cuddy. The saving and penny pinching continues!
SS 18' ET HT without cuddy, Arima SR 19', DE 185, Campion 542, Trophy 1902, Striper 1851.... Something along those lines will be ideal for the two of us to cruise, fish, and overnight.

Have to be able to tow it short distances with my tacoma and the 6500# limit.

Looks like a lot of boat - layout looks pretty sweet to me. Never been on one tho.
Note the listing number is 1000 off the current listings with thunderbird. That's a pretty old sale so irrelevant for trying to value one.

I like the islander layout. The twin 225s is overkill and counter productive on that boat. Set of 150s is pretty ideal. Lots run a single 300 which is a little light on juice but would be fine on the inside water.

Sold. Nice to have at least seating for 3 under the hard top. Who ever bought it better have deep pockets. Can’t imagine how much it will cost unless they have a line on a couple of engines.
That hull is before they removed the step up and made it a full hull extension to accommodate the extra weight of four strokes. Those 225s were heavy and would not have been suited to the gen 1 vesrion of that boat. Changed the design somewhere around 03 to accommodate the added weight.

Maybe a set of 200 yamis would be a good fit?

Would it have aluminum tanks as well, look like lots of moored in salt time.

and a transom rebuild.

offshore it would probably bog in the swell with 400hp. great for inshore. full fuel, gear and fishers that is a big boat for 400hp.

@Jamesonm yes I think it might be a good deal for someone but the seat layout I don’t love and I’m not sure about that engine, and I’m not sure about the freeboard. The stabicraft on the other hand has a nice dance floor and a proven boat in big water. I personally would want a boat with a real top and drop curtain, but that small stabi would temp me if we made 2X the usd revenue we have so far this year. Dam cheques from the us take 14 days to clear even from past customers…..
Does the Crestliner look to be a good deal? Anything to worry about with Honda engines?

Thanks for info guys I just looked at one same boat, couple years newer and with a 300 it’s not for sale yet but I’m gonna keep in touch as it’s a retired fellows boat and might come up when I get really serious in two years time
Who knows ? they are nice and I like the fact they are built for twins with decent cabin set up
I get more excited as time passes and I get closer to the trigger pull
