Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Grady of the week 265 express. 2000. Seating for more under the hard top then all but 33 express I think? 29k USD. Offer him 15 if you are generous they are 2 strokes, this aint selling anytime soon. No mercy for our Florida friends.

Worst ad alert. 1 picture, no hp, dimensions or…. 1999 Armstrong Pilot House 200k cad https://www.facebook.com/share/1E7QAPZ3e1/?mibextid=wwXIfr
Great example of the quality of Armstrong built boats. All set to go fishing or cruising. Low hour Yanmar engine and only 10 hours on the Bravo 3 leg. New (July 2024) Yamaha kicker. New battery just put in (2024), risor and turbo done few hours ago. Safety and quality together.

Seller must've edited the ad since it originally went up...has several pics now. Not great pics, and the interior is cluttered with stuff, but at least there's a bit more to look at.

I'm personally not convinced that it's a $200,000 boat the way it sits, though.

I hear you, not sure why in this price range an owner couldn’t find an afternoon to empty and clean out before posting pictures and an ad.

Given that all used boats feel very expensive these days, while lacking details, this one looks pretty solid for the price relative to other aluminum boats in the 200k range. She’s a Brute, looks tough and formidable.

General boat valuation. When an older boat lists >5 year old motors /motors out of warranty and you take price listed + factor in replacement outboard cost, and its greater than new, would you consider it over priced? For me, the math on so many of these does not add up. It costs too much, you add in motor replacement cost and you now have an old boat that cost more than new with no hull warranty etc.

There are many factors. The engine is a faster depreciating asset than the hull, generally. The depreciation of the motor is not going to be zero for a very long time because of the replacement costs. You can expect 2000-3000 hrs out of one if maintained properly. So, a 5 year old motor with say 500hrs is likely less than a quarter way through it's lifecycle. Generally, I think the econonics of a repower only really make sense with an older hull. You would only have a warrantee on the motor, then. If warrantee on the hull is your main worry then you are going to have to purchase a new or near new boat.

Not to mention keep cycling through new boats to maintain a warranty that’s only as good as the paper it’s written on

Ask me about warranties on logging trucks lol 😂

Spartan 20 92k trailer included but playing games. EDIT Might be a scammer sketchy profile and asking for a deposit

22 Boston whaler revenge wants 22k usd for a 2 stroke and 4 stroke. Games again. 31,320. Better off starting at 29k in my opinion. What do people think of the mariner optimax? If it had seating for 4 undercover it would be a good buy, too bad.

@Jamesonm yes I think it might be a good deal for someone but the seat layout I don’t love and I’m not sure about that engine, and I’m not sure about the freeboard. The stabicraft on the other hand has a nice dance floor and a proven boat in big water. I personally would want a boat with a real top and drop curtain, but that small stabi would temp me if we made 2X the usd revenue we have so far this year. Dam cheques from the us take 14 days to clear even from past customers…..
