I think he's selling both for 15k. Not a bad deal since that trailer is probably over 20k new. I think the boat project is priced appropriately due to the trailer, unlike the other pod projects that are listed on FB that should be listed for $1

Yeah, the boat isn’t light though, with twins, 120 gallon fuel tank and sounds like he takes family with him, in addition to it being pretty loaded from the exterior pics and gear included.

I agree. It's spec'd out like a 24 footer, and probabaly not much lighter. Fuel burn does sound higher than I would expect. I cruise at 20kts @ 10 GPH with a single 300HP

Mine with twin 150 seapro's is around 11gph at 22 knots. I am going to try to jump up in pitch of my props and should bring that number down, maybe, hopefully!

Would twin 150’s burn more fuel than a single 300? What’s the rule of thumb in that regard?

yes I believe so. two legs in the water, additional drag. additional weight.

That's my understanding, too. More torque for lower rpms and planing. Less top speed and less fuel efficient. Twins have redundancy, and are way more badass, though!

Irrelevant of hours, I'd expect who ever buys it is repowering that thing. 3 X gen 2 L6 verados would not be the experience I would want after spending that dough. Sounds frustrating. Those would be working real hard pushing 18k plus around. The current 250s/300s with the major increase in low end torque would make it a much better machine. I would think they often spec the 34 with the v10s now
