Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Looks like a great boat, but surprised to see it only holds 65 gallons of fuel.

For comparison, a 23 foot Grady comes with a 140 gallon tank.

Not really a surprise on fuel tank. 23 Hourstons came with a belly tank 45ish gallons and option of side tanks that would increase capacity. This 65 gallon tank is probably either larger than original or the boat has the optional side tanks.

I personally don't like the changed look of the raised cabin roof. The original cabin was high enough for my 6'6" brother and had a sleeker look.

I'd also want to know how long ago the previous owner replaced the stringers and have those checked out, along with the transom.

That houston has been updated for 7-8 months. Tough to sell the old houstons for 70k without recent and well documented structural refits. This one doesn't have that. It's a 30k plus shop bill when you have to gut one.

Another Bertram.

Haha, that’s me and what I want to do with my 7 year old but we have enough projects to do on our current boat. That runs and has professionals work on the main systems. Looks like residential electrical work? Love how it’s sold as, change out the fuel and you will have an amazing summer of fishing!

23’ Hourston Glascraft Down to 67k commercially certified. Anyone check it out? Started at 80

This thing is listed as sold now. I'm surprised...that seemed expensive for an older Hourston. Hope they got a good hull survey and everything checked out well.
