Man I’ll say. It started blowing 6 minutes after I posted that. And I mean blowing. Ride home was a beeactch. Docking was fun too in 20 knots gusting 30.

Someone should name that phenomenon something clever like "the calm before the storm". Maybe that's already taken...

Looks good for us weekend warriors this coming weekend. Low slack at 11:20 on Sat, 12:00 on Sun. Flooding all afternoon

Tides look great but there must be a derby this weekend. The wind thinks so anyways!

I was at t-10 too. I lost one Spring early then it was ho’s all day. Non-stop. I’m not seeing the Spring action compared to previous years. Just one mans view. Now……this year I’m doing spoons exclusively for the first time. Maybe chovies would improve my Spring catch rate. Who knows. Not spending $15-20 a pack anymore tho. It’s outta control.

Have you tried these yet? They roll pretty tight and I had a fair amount of success with them out at Swiftsure. Way cheaper than bait when you can use them over and over.

Quite speed sensitive, I find. Easy to have them helicopter if not watching your speed or angle.
