Fished a couple of hours around the bell today. Shakers but no bigger fish lots of bait on the screen. Saw one guy at the ramp with a nice one but didn’t see much action with about 25 boats out there.

Fished the bell - no lie - we got a double header and landed 2 nice ones ~70cm just west of the bell in 120feet right on the bottom.

Had 1.5 hours to myself and squeaked in a quick trip to the bell. Nice chinook at 85 feet. Same gear as before

What was your timing like? I'm heading out tomorrow but thinking about trying something else.

I was in about the same spot described by Springsteen maybe a bit deeper and more northwest of the bell in 130 FOW. Lines in around 3:30 and was headed back by 4pm.

Damn. We fished just west of the bell in 130 to 150ft of water. Should have been over your way. We had on line right on the bottom the other suspended following the bait. We fished from 11 am till 2 pm.

It's winter, the bite can come on randomly and for a short period of time. I think people are forgetting that a skunk is a great day of winter fishing in a normal year. It wasn't uncommon to have 1 bite, 1 fish in a full shift. We've been spoiled lately.

In December we were having near limit fishing in 90 ‘ - 100’ fow, everyone else out deeper but all our fish came in tight behind the bell towards the markers

Hey that’s my spot, west of the Bell in shallower than most other boats

A 74cm not far from the bell. On bottom. Missed the other rod go off at the time of netting.

Went out today by the bell. Windier than was forecast. Didn’t see many nets around us at all. Last few times out was pretty decent. Today- NADA. That’s the way it goes. Hope some boats found some!! Maybe time to move spots….

Tried falls for a couple hours not much bait nor action. Saw a guide boat hook up and a guy said he had one that didn’t stick. Maybe 4-5 boats there .
Then Did a lap at tunstal and got a double header . Kept one for dinner .

well thought i was going to get skunked today but just heading into the afternoon tide got into a nice hatch 71cm so hung out for another hour and got rewarded with a nice scrappy 84cm .. must remember don't tie 7' leaders and fish flashers with spoons solo nightmare to land with a short landing net .....lol
