Last year (March) I trolled that point between bedwell bay and jug island and got a 17lb spring on a 602 4" Tomic plug. He hit within 5 minutes of getting the line wet. So naturally I tried all the rest that day, all next day, and a day or two later and got nothing before giving up on the area.
For sure... the troll in Indian Arm that day was due to unfavorable weather in the harbor, free time and a boat that lives in Reed Point. I was surprised I found one.
we used to get the odd fall white off kinder morgan before trans mtn put in that massive fence / new facility . They had a net pen there i believe , fish that had no natal streams so would mill around there/barnett marine park in sept/october. not all that long ago.

Yeah it’s a fairly technical tack when that current is ripping . Late summer those pinnacles hold big fish , allot more fun than just straight line dummy tacks like most of our fishery is .
