Oh oh. That’s a shame.

The McReef.

We re-did the glass in that years ago for the Blade movie. I think we still have the custom extrusion that we ran for the windows. It's too bad nobody has ever followed through on their plans to refurbish it. So now it's stuck in the mud of the Fraser while there's multiple barges stuck in the mud on the Pitt River LOL

Honestly wind died down a bit. Only about a 2-3 ft chop right now in the SOG. They stopped blowing off the tops about an hour ago.

Anyone heading over tomorrow. Or is it looking too rough.. reports have slowed
I was (am) over on the island for a few days… hit Thrasher today and it was wild. A solid 15+ SE, barely fishable. I gave my crew the heads up before heading out and they were game. We sloshed it out all alone out there for about 1.5hr and the bite was sure on. Boxed 4 and lost a few. Straight back thru Gabriola pass and into calmer waters to waste the rest of the day 😎

Probably best to avoid those early Fraser fish... don't think it makes much sense to target stocks of concern. Especially considering most Chinook regs are in place to protect those fish. If their populations have a chance to rebound, we might see some fisheries open up.
tell me about the percentage of the stocks of concern are intercepted by sport fishers. POLITICAL salmon being harvested up river should be your bark.

We put in a good four hour shift today and arrived at North around 8 AM. The bite was slow, but we managed to box 2 keepers and I had some very happy junior fishers in the process. Pick up both nooks just between the north arm and the bell, and only about 180 feet of water, dragging the bottom. Cop car was the ticket today.
