I dunno that's pretty old. The App is pretty good about listing all the up to date notices and there's nothing there. Just a minimum size.

Fair enough . The app does list area 29 max of 80cm . Feel for the guy earlier releasing that nice fish if there is no slot limit. Hopefully someone that can decipher this crap can chime in and say yay or nay.

That's what I was going by as well. I checked a few areas and they all list the max size.

To me the most official info is the actual notices they post on the DFO fishery notices page. If you read the most recent one regarding Area 28 & 29 (FN0774) it looks to me like the slot size of 80cm mac applies to anywhere you can retain during August. (Except you can interpret in 28-9 from Aug 13-31 as no slot limit). I think that jives with the map posted above too
