last night had a nice fresh caught halibut poached in wine , and Brown basmati Rice with Channys in it and beans from last years harvest couple night ago we had a sushi feast....

In AZ fresh wild salmon is going for $24 per lb. and Halibut $35 per lb..
We ate our last piece of salmon last night and one piece of halibut remaining.
I know that when I get back the first thing I will do is have a crab feed

If you are near a Lee Lee's Chinese grocery in AZ I was getting halibut there at a pretty good price.

We bring a plug in cooler in the back of the truck to AZ. It's full to the top with BC scallops, lots of smoked Coho, Springs and Halibut. We give away some and everyone cannot believe the taste and quality. Specially the smoked fished. I try to stretch it out for the five months we're here and now we are down to a couple of piece of smoked, one hali and a lb of BIG Q scallops. We bring no crab so I'm craving a fresh crab feed which should happen around April 8th. You only can eat so much Mexican food.

This tread is one of my favorite, great photos, interesting food and no controversy.

I know where Lee Lees is so I will check it out.

Fish and chip night...... Tuna, halibut and spot prawns Yum

The tuna and prawns were so good they made the halibut seem lame.

Chips couldn't fit on this plate as someone wanted salad

Lingcod Florentine...... butter, garlic, cod filets, spinach and Parmesan cheese . Baked in the oven in a pyrex dish until the fish flakes and the cheese has melted. Yummy
