What's for dinner tonight ?

This was a hit as part of a small Japanese dinner 120th birthday party we threw for my buddy and me. (Both born on the same day and year).
So we tried it with some frozen brisket, cut into squares.
I simmered for 3 hours and reduced it to almost View attachment 75837View attachment 75838View attachment 75839syrup at the end.
Served on boiled then fried with slivered cabbage and onions straight ramen noodles. Roasted veg on the side.

I am making this for the second time tonight…..so good
 
Home made Spaghetti sauce with Chanterells and our own sun-dried tomatoes & home grown garlic.
Whitetail meatballs.
Shredded marble cheese.
Cheesy garlic toast.

Had 17 lbs of cubed pork leg from the cuts of meat on sale thread. Made 14lbs of breakfast sausage, And 3lbs of Andouille (first time) froze some for jambalaya ect and pickled some (thanks ILHG ) 1 week in the jar so far trying to hold of for Super bowl before sampling!
