What's for dinner tonight ?

Last nights sockeye appetizer. And todays brisket. My brother brought a big brisket up so I’m doing the charcoal bbq and he’s doing the propane bbq. Never cooked a brisket before so we shall see how it goes

Brisket worked out pretty good. Served it on grits, cheese, gravy, and sprouts.

Dinner last night in Spain.....Calamari Frito con Chopito croquetas done in squid ink and rice. Chopito's are baby squid the size of you baby finger......Washed done with a crisp Rose from Castilla y Leon. Not a Region we ever seem to get wine from in Canada.
 
I'm looking to rent a caner in the Cowichan area.
I am looking to try some caning, but am un sure if I will like it. Does anyone near by have one I can try?

If you ever have had canned salmon from the store, then you try your own, and it will be 10 times better. Also cans will help you gain space in the freezer. That's what I've been doing lately. Next up is 40 cans of Albacore. Will post when completed.
