Nope not at all. My boat has the typical anchor locker in the bow it feeds in no problems. I may have better pics somewhere. Those 2 cleats are used primarily to tie the boat to the dock, and one side I tie a safety line to avoid auto release fun and games. If I'm not answering your question I apologize, I'm in Vegas waiting on a table...

Sounds like and correct if I am wrong here you don’t tie off your rode when anchored but use the side cleats for a safety stop when anchor is up ?

Turned this Lifetimer white with Trotac Aluma Brite, 100% no dilution pump sprayer application. 2 jugs took most of 17 years of oxidation off but not all. The white effect fades back to bright silver, then apply Sharkhide polish.

It returns to silver within an hour or after drying. It just seems so striking white because the amount of oxidation and grime it removes. Apply Aluma Brite on a cool overcast day, let it work for 5 minutes agitate with a soft to medium brush if needed and the rinse generously. Let the aluminum dry and you will see areas missed. Repeat. Let it Dry. Seal with Sharkhide from Sherwood Marine. Pictured is an Islander reel before it gets anodized, Aluminum can show in a variety of aesthetics.

I need to know more about this do you need to remove everything first?

It didn't hurt anything plastic or rubber but I removed the riggers and sounder anyway. The 'Lifetimer' sticker on the side of the boat ran a bit, leaked some of the ink but not bad went away with rinsing. The trailer did get streaky with the Aluma Brite so ended up doing it as well. I actually used 3 jugs, the first diluted to manufacturers spec and it didn't do anything so I tested 100% and got the effect I was looking for. Cheapest pump sprayer is at Walmart under $20 tax in.

Wow I wonder if this aluma Brite + sharkhide is the answer for my stupid aluminum windshield frame where the finish had bubbled, that doesn't cost 8 to 12,000? Can't hurt I'm gonna try this on the smaller messed up areas.

There was a trailer roller fastener puncture on the keel here.
