What Did You Do To Your Boat This Week?

Looks like you got 3 different metals going on there - galvanized, alu and stainless bolts/nuts. No wonder this area is cooking!
I agree but you would think that the builders of these boat trailers would be aware of these issues as well. Many trailers have multiple metals so not sure how they deal with it.

Added a Panther stainless tie bar between my main and 'rescue kicker'. The main is an Etec and the kicker is a little 6hp mercury with a high thrust prop. Previously I had a kicker lock bracket that holds the motor dead straight and then you steer with the main like a rudder. This setup works fine on calm water, but I could tell that with any wind/waves it was going to be a disaster.

The Etec has a threaded connection for the ball/socket, and I had some extra hardware lying around for a remote setup on the Mercury, so it was just a matter of cutting the tie bar to the right length. It worked out really nicely and the ball/socket on both ends of the tie bar make is super easy to disconnect and stow away when the kicker is tilted up.

Well it was more like what did we do to the boat the last six weeks. 300 hour service, cowlings wrapped, Decals, polish/wax, new pooper, stained the cuddy floor, removed dead microwave and a new charge after cooler on the port side. Thanks to @noluck for his help and expertise.

Looks wicked like that! Great boat, I fished a 282 in Barkley sounds and we took it for halibut and made a pretty good video.

I love the boat. Great for serious fishing and can comfortably over night in it. Pretty sure I saw that video. You posted it a year or two ago?

Decks and bulkheads ready for install.
More scraping and sanding to do on the inside of the hull first.

Cut waxed her and repainted the bottom paint. Looking pretty good for a 34 year old boat.
Need to cut wax more often. Sure makes a difference for look and being able to rinse off and keep clean.

Nice looking cooler. Is it injected? like the roto molded ones? I like the function of the yeti/knock off ones but the size and weight can be a pain.
to be honest havent even really looked at it that much but ill take a peak this weekend and try to let you know. Its actually not that bad for weight and from what ive seen that cooler normally sells for around 350 or so plus taxes lol
