Commander 26 Re Build

I think he was willing to go 85k if remember right.
I need someone to get it all done without me running around, Anisur from Rigel marine definitely knows his stuff and has connections to get everything done, including a few guys that built commanders back in the day.
But can’t guarantee me the boat ready for summer, and even if it did hit the water this summer, it wouldn’t be fully completed, with some final touches left for the fall.

Now that’s a problem for my wife, I put her thru so much with my half year build, now she’s been setting up a new company with me. We both been running on 5 hours of sleep for a couple months now, but have a realistic goal of taking most of the summer off…. I need a boat this summer… period
I can’t be dragging her out pounding on my thunderjet on water that it’s not meant for
Can you lease a big boat or go on an extended cruise?

I think in order to get it done with the least amount of cost, you need to start in the late fall and find someone that wants to pick away at it all winter. This time of year is the absolute worst. From what I’ve heard , things aren’t slowing down much in the boating industry. New boats and engines are still selling and things are still in short supply so asking someone to fit you in ahead of this summer is going to cost a premium.

It’s actually disappointing, the 26 commander is the perfect boat, I would be able to tow it wherever I want and hit up the entire west coast this summer.
And just the sound of a podded commander with helm master EX tickles my balls, kinda like a brand new Duramax

I’m not even thinking about this commander anymore because it won’t be built by the summer, I have one goal now and that’s to get on the water this summer in a boat my wife will approve of. I don’t need to sell this boat and can pay someone to continue on with it. I’m worried if I get another boat it’s not going to be a temporary one, especially if I end up in a 30 commander.
