Government still helping with apprenticeship rebates, time to lean there is time to clean!Maybe that’s y I can’t build a boat… I’m too busy cleaning the effin shop
Only thing I have in that world is 2 150 optimax's. Pair. They need to find somewhere else to hang.If you have a 300 horsepower powerhead collecting dust I need one to put on my sport jet pump on my 16’ lynx
Nooooo,And if I don’t build it by the summer I will sell it as is, buy a 30 diesel commander

Have you thought about seeing if Monaro marine can finish it? You have done so much and in reality are somewhat fairly close to being done. All the long tedious stuff. Let them get it to the point you want to take over on the final stuff. Going to be much cheaper than selling and buying another boat. Unless raincity buys it!Maybe that’s y I can’t build a boat… I’m too busy cleaning the effin shop
No, I’m assuming u meant Monaro... That sounds expensive, but then again skilled labour isn’t cheap.Have you thought about seeing if Manaro marine can finish it?
Yes Monaro. Finishing at this point must be less than replacingNo, I’m assuming u meant Monaro... That sounds expensive, but then again skilled labour isn’t cheap.
With how much work you have done and how meticulous everything isMy first rough estimates I got :
25k for electrical,
25K for carpentry
10-15k to finish glassing and gel coat.
Of course It depends how fancy I want the boat.
Few grand for a pod and then of course
Twins
And don’t forget to add :
Keeping the wife happy - pricelesssss
Dam I knew another members 26 with twin outboards at 100k was a good deal. If I lived in a tax free US state I might have swapped last year but 12k in taxes just didn’t make sense to me to gain beam and speed but have harder resale down the road. If RS didn’t jump into another project I would say he did the right thing. My first rough estimates I got :

I think he was willing to go 85k if remember right.Dam I knew another members 26 with twin outboards at 100k was a good deal. Carpentry is at a marine shop? Carpenters are hired direct is likely a better deal, Marine electrical is harder to do at a good deal direct but possible since you have a trailer. A member on here in Sooke rigs electrical on lots of good new boats but could be booked til fall.
Jenkins marine?I think he was willing to go 85k if remember right.
I need someone to get it all done without me running around, Anisur from Rigel marine definitely knows his stuff and has connections to get everything done, including a few guys that built commanders back in the day.
But can’t guarantee me the boat ready for summer, and even if it did hit the water this summer, it wouldn’t be fully completed, with some final touches left for the fall.
Now that’s a problem for my wife, I put her thru so much with my half year build, now she’s been setting up a new company with me. We both been running on 5 hours of sleep for a couple months now, but have a realistic goal of taking most of the summer off…. I need a boat this summer… period
I can’t be dragging her out pounding on my thunderjet on water that it’s not meant for
