(I sure hope former owner leftcoast doesnt read this.)
Sooo i have a dual sleeper setup on my DE 185. the upholstery which is always in the sun and weather have taken a beating and it’s time to do something about it. to get the sleeper upholstery alone repaired is going to be north of 3k.
i want to keep the port sleeper, as we do occasionally sleep on the boat. i want to replace the starboard sleeper with two swiveling chairs ( i think that’s what i wanna do ?!) the sleeper base has to stay, as the boats dual batteries are located under the captains chair. if i remove the starboard sleepers, i will need to build a base to mount chairs to. that base is going to have to look factory or it will bug me big time.
i do have access to a spray booth.
so i’m basically looking for ideas, your pics, or input on whether or not this is a good or bad idea; should i just bite the bullet and replace both…
thanks guys
