I had a 2470 with a 225 Yamaha and I think that would be the least you'd want,a 300 would be great.I don't think this Denali is a good pod project though because of the sloped stern.

That euro transom wouldn’t look great with a pod, and would more than likely change the ride of the boat quite a bit
Sweet little boat. Liquid Metal make fantastic boats, one of my favourite work boats was built by them 10 or so years ago now. They also make (made?) the aluminum hulls for Titan who themselves make fantastic vessels as well. As mentioned the seating is a little awkward but could be changed if the buyer desire for not much additional cost relatively!
