Sure but are we comparing apples to apples? it’s a 40yr old boat… well kept or not if you aren’t doing your own maintenance or updates it will get expensive very quickly. Not the same as a 28’ aluminum/whaler/Grady etc. with outboards.

For sure. It has definitely not a direct comparison. I’m browsing for a little more space for a family of 4 and there aren’t very many big boats being made any more. The glassply had more beam, nice boat regardless.

I'm in Nanaimo end of October early November. Any tollycraft around the area for sale I will be looking at.
Went and looked at it this morning. Everything he said on the ad was done. 500 hours on the 5.7 liter. Fuel flow sensor was a nice addition. At 14 knots, burned 10.3 gph. Needed alot of cosmetic work for that price though. Headliner work, single bench on the flybridge needed replacing, below the cockpit floor needed a good clean and some wire management.
Will be passing on this one.

Nice. Are you looking at Uniflite as well? Beautiful looking one in Cowichan area for sale and a steal on a 26 just north of Courtenay. I can’t wrap my head around getting a salmon hit and trolling from the cabin or flybridge so the 26 Uniflite covers this problem as it is open concept kinda like the 80k Bertram over on the Sunshine Coast.
