The original posting shows a D4 - 225 so it may be the original power just cleaned up.

The seller was on here discussing it, and I believe his impetus to bring it back to BC was based on the reaction and comments in the original thread(s). Thunderbird had a video on it describing the boat and it's "time capsule" condition.

D4 is a cast iron block and head

Again interesting. One source said D3, D4 and D5 are aluminum, but it turned out it was referring to cars. Volvo Penta says cast-iron for the D4 marine engines. From what I found the D3 and D5 marine engines are aluminum.

Basically priced for a repower. That kicker looks good. A new 26 foot boat is like 250k new. Trailer looks a little light but at least isn't only 10 years old. Would be worth a sniffNot my favourite motor but dang boats almost seem cheap nowadays..
