Not at tango 10. They’ve been doing the harbour a lot, I guess the guests they are taking out are fine with a boatload of pink salmon.Where were all the guides fishing? I didn’t really miss them at Entrance , lol

Bigger baits and going a bit deeper should helpGuessing the name of the game Monday will be trying to sort thru the pinks to hook Chinooks. I heard from one experienced fisherman that one tactic is to go a bit faster ... anyone tried this before?
I hope every boat in the lower mainland shows up and limits on everything. Plenty of room and plenty of fish. Good luck everyone.
Conversely, those that are new to the area or to fishing, it is one day of many to fish for chinook, so don't panic. Bowen is great this time of year too.I hope every boat in the lower mainland shows up and limits on everything. Plenty of room and plenty of fish. Good luck everyone.
Excellent Book. Bill is a great guy, tons of experience, and local here in Surrey.I strongly recommend buying and reading - The Science of Salmon Fishing by Bill Haymond.
It’s full of information for a newbie and veteran fisher.

If fishing herring or anchovies, it’s all about the roll of the bait. If you go too fast, you’ll wreck that roll and bait.
Used to be 88A for most of the recreational fishers, but really not much chatter on the VHF any more. What radio channel does everyone use around this area?
Once upon a time yes, social media took over and recognizing guide boats is easy.Used to be 88A for most of the recreational fishers, but really not much chatter on the VHF any more.
Yeah it’s a different world now, Dave. I don’t even turn my radio on now.Once upon a time yes, social media took over and recognizing guide boats is easy.
Information is shamelessly shared with everyone.
