Was decent first light until about 9:00 at T10. Nephew lost a nice "training" fish about 5 minutes in and then got his two mid 60s. Was dead until about 1:00, when my persistence was rewarded with this 26 lb knuckle breaker (literally). What a freight train.
How is it that 3 guys all have the same pics in their posts or is this just something I am seeingPissed excellence yesterday with the wife who has never fished before. New boat to us fishing and we crushed it. Rods in the water at 10am and done at 12:30. 4 springs in the boat. Took a lot of me to not fish for the sockeye that we’re jumping around us. Fished out of the pack and had a great time. Unfortunately all whites. Still a great day on the water. 56’-76’ was the ticket.
I think we all like this idea, but don't find the time while out there. The only time I look at the forum while fishing is when it's slow. If the fishing is good I'm busy and really don't look at my phone. It may be nice if all of us who are getting into the fish to start posting info to help the less fortunate earlier in the day so that they can get into some fish rather than us posting after our trip once we return home.
I'll try to do my part.
we’re you north of the pack? I’ll be out first lightWe were out at sandheads today. Lines in by 645-700, It was good, my strikes continued to come outside the pack. But closer to the pack then the last few times. We went 5 for 6. Released a spring and a wild coho. A 26# and a 21# But the craziest scrap I've ever had was with the 15#. Must have seen the net and taken off 10 times. The sockeye were jumping everywhere, the commercial troller guy beside me was pulling them in at a good rate. My advice would be to arrive as early as safely possible. It went from constant action until nine then slim pickings after that. I think we'll do one or two more weekends at sandheads, then it should be Ambleside season.
I wouldn't stress about it too much. Give me a break. It's not like we're all trying to figure out where the fish are or what they're eating. I try and give as much info as I can but this is getting ridiculous.I think we all like this idea, but don't find the time while out there. I'll make a mental note to try a bit harder. See how it goes.
Normally I'm 500 yards north of the pack. Today we were 200 yards, all the strikes were when trolling north.we’re you north of the pack? I’ll be out first light
Lol. Fair point. There's only a couple spots and a few ways to fish. Sometimes they're biting and sometimes they ain't.I wouldn't stress about it too much. Give me a break. Did you make him walk the plank? We also just had a stowaway mink come out of our gunwale and tear around the boat for a good two mins , a first for everything
That's y it's called fishing not catching, sometimes the hero sometimes the zero.Lol. Fair point. There's only a couple spots and a few ways to fish. Sometimes they're biting and sometimes they ain't.

GPS location along with a live stream of some GoPro cams down on the riggers would be nice. Can you do that Rain City?I wouldn't stress about it too much. Give me a break.
