I'm starting to believe that Reeltime doesn't actually fish, but rather he's a big shareholder in Rhys Davis. Every time he posts I run and buy another pack of anchovies to feed jacks and dogfish with.

Yes. I think they should have opened it up to us sportys a couple weeks earlier. Nope !
I hear rumours that they eventually want to push the opening to Oct 1st.

Get highwater to put the mechanical counters under the lid when you have your riggers serviced over the winter, saves your butt when the stupid digital one craps out mid day..

The fish i was catching yesterday, the bait at Canadian Tire Grandview Hwy matches the bait (herring) puked up by a coho i caught.. their freezer is full of medium anchovies.. great quality bait plump!!

Fished Monday SHs 8 am to 3 pm. We had one 13# red keeper early, a couple of just under Chinook, a couple small wild coho, and a bunch of stinky pinks. Beauty day, fishing was slow though. All on bait flasher combo. They just aren't there in numbers it seems
