Thanks for all the reports. Kept the boat in bamfield last summer and didn't get to drop a line in Vancouver at all. This year it's Milltown dry stack so I can get out allot. Got the boat ready today. Out first thing. Thanks to all you I feel Ive got a grip on where what and depth to start. Big thanks. Will report.

Spent the day from QB, HITW, and South Bowen. Shaker at the QB 30 ft then jetted to the Hole for the afternoon. Got a 9# keeper down 100ft and one more lost on a head shake before it slowed down at the low tide and then tried south end of bowen before calling it quits. It paid off with another 8# keeper red at 30 ft. Homeland needle G was getting the action today.

All our hits today were in the 500-750 foot range of bottom, but around 135 feet on riggers. QA area ...... Toward Nanaimo from the QA can.

Was followed by one last month when it was hot but the thing never bugged us, was weird. Tubbed out no issues from the dummy.

Use a twist tie. Five turns lets you still rip through it. Trust me...

yeah sucks I learned the hard way back in the day.... now I have spares and extras of everything to do with fishing but I'm a hoarder lol... grew up poor so.....
