28-1 & 28-2 were closed Jan 1, 2017 - March 31, 2017 last winter.

Half day on the water yesterday. 1 keeper, 4 unders. Prawns and crab to boot.

PS - The Environment Canada marine forecasts have been incredibly inaccurate the last month. They called for Gale force winds 3 times only to have 5-7 knots.

We finally ignored the report (along with 5 other boats) and cautiously hit the water. Gusted to 12 knots but was manageable.

Suggest exercising caution but do go see the conditions with your own eyes.
