Marinated pork shank, slow baked and fall off the bone. Topped off with baked potatoes, yam and mix vegs.
Got enough off the shank for 3 plates.

The wife of one of the builders I work with grows and sells mushrooms, so I picked up a some oysters and chestnuts for a cream of mushroom soup.

Lots of eating going on in a day.

Noticed a new thing yesterday, lots of Hells Angels in town and most patched from California. I guess everyone need a Christmas getaway.

The others are no better. They just don’t give a crap. If what you want is not there they just expect you to get something else that they do have.

JP now owns QF, Buy Low and Save on here.
Only No Frills (huge line-ups and damn few chashiers) or Walmart as alternatives.

Every Friday we shop at Safeway in the US. It's $5 Fridays and today chicken special was cooked chicken wings and any flavor at the deli at 1lb for $5. There was a line up of 6 people ahead of us but it went fast.
Also every Friday sushi rolls are $5 each so here is our lunch, a crunchy roll, spicy salmon roll and California roll and all this for $15.

Where did you get those big prawns? The monster prawns look very tasty.
Also a nice table setting to go along with that great meal.
