DougWe were at Costco (Oahu) yesterday and they had fresh Mahi Mahi. It was a little pricy for a 1.35 lb for $25.65 ($18.99lb us), but cheaper than anywhere else. I cut it in ½ for another meal.
Marinated in lemon juice, garlic, and a little S&P for 30 minutes. Then pan fried it in butter.
Added some wild rice and a salad. Very tasty and the texture was great.
They did have halibut, but it was $31lb (us) or $40lb Canadian and the salmon was all farmed. While here we will only eat fish we don’t get back home
notice the same.. like a big jump in $ Thinking i need a 4th jobGave up on QF after JP took them over. Prices too high. Missing stock I used to go there for.
Eff them
Just doing the same thing everyday. You are eating way too well in Hawai!
Just doing the same thing everyday.
Wake-up (which is good) eat, go snorkeling and swimming, eat, go for a walk or to the pool, then to happy hour, then eat.
Lots of eating going on in a day.
Noticed a new thing yesterday, lots of Hells Angels in town and most patched from California. I guess everyone need a Christmas getaway.
