Fooling around with this one for the second time. I'm not married to it yet. Keeping my eye open for the next recipe to monkey bar to until I settle on one. I do know a couple of things already. I like to lean towards the longer side on the cure to avoid the pictures I found online of undercured corned beef. Looks like a reverse rare roast beef. Also, I like to cook the cabbage and potatos (plain chicken stock and finished with butter) so the dinner isn't just one note. The best part is the leftovers for corn beefed hash the next day. I'll still eat canned corned beef versus no corned beef but the real thing is soooo different.Do you got a corned beef recipe to share? I got some brisket that I was going to try. I haven't made one before.
Make Your Very Own Homemade Corned Beef
Here's how to easily cure your own corned beef for St. Patrick's Day! It's made with beef brisket, pickling spices, and salt, and needs to cure for 5 days. The result is a corned beef that's more flavorful and unique than you can buy in the store.
