What's for dinner tonight ?

My favourite food (Ling cod heads) just got better - normally roast it in the oven but today figured I would go the extra mile and BBQ on a charcoal grill. Let’s just say I’m never going to waste them in the oven again. 10 times better. Skin side down in a wire basket until everything is falling apart. Lots of fatty meat everywhere. This is an all fingers no utensils meal.

Paired with a red onion, goat feta, and heirloom tomatoes from our awesome neighbours garden! And an incredible $10 bottle of red wine I brought home from our holiday in Croatia this summer. Wish you could buy a $10 bottle like this here!

Yummy!

Please tell us more about the brick oven. I’d like to get one for the back yard eventually.
Unfortunately I can’t tell you much, I could find some more pics of it, but it was put in by the previous owners. Professionally done no doubt. It’s such a dream to use, gas ignition so it’s super easy to get the fire going. It’s just really fun, I’d highly recommend.

Had to try a simplified version of smoked meat loaf. Thanks for the inspiration.
Unfortunately, I went into a school to do some reffing then did a men's night golf banquet last week. Yep C19 with taste issues. My wife liked it.
Most symptoms are gone after 5 days.

It's been a week for me. I still cant tell if I am eating steak or salmon by taste alone.

stongs had a couple of 2-3inch thick porterhouse steaks on sale for 14/lb, couldn't resist and did a bistecca alla Florentine with a cannellini bean salad and some grilled asparagus, turned out great, marinated about 16hrs

No that’s not cheese melted on top of a Sandheads white spring. It is finely grated carrots mixed with mayo and a dash of salt. Wife and kids love it.

Picked up this recipe from a CRAZY Russian girlfriend 25 years ago.
