You put your brisket in a jar? Here is the flat from the briskets. Never tried this before, see how she goes.

Not smoked. Just cubed it, browned it and jarred it for stew with carrots and onions. I cut the 3 briskets I had in half and used the thin part for this. You put your brisket in a jar?
Is that the Meater one?Tried out a wireless thermometer on a Buffalo roast. I figured I was cooking it too long and I was right. I’d pull it out at 140 degrees next time.
Wireless thermometer would lose signal if I had a lid on the crock pot so that’s a bit of a downer. And you have to keep your phone pretty close to the stove to get signal. It’s a cool idea though to have your thermometer in the meat in the over and give all the info to your phone
What liquid Do you use? And then just throw it in the cupboard? Not smoked. Just cubed it, browned it and jarred it for stew with carrots and onions. I cut the 3 briskets I had in half and used the thin part for this.
This one is the Stake. It was the one I could find locally. I had to get one quickly when I saw them haha. Id give the Meater one a try next time. The case of the Meater is a wifi repeater so you get some more rangeIs that the Meater one?
Oh wow I had no idea, cool. I've had the Webber igrill for a long time and it's pretty good. Bluetooth so limited range and its wired sensors. Came with three meat probes and a cooker one. I'm just used to closing the door on the wires, doesn't seem to hurt it.This one is the Stake. It was the one I could find locally. I had to get one quickly when I saw them haha. Yeah man, shelf stable. I used the pan drippings from when I browned the meat in the oven and just water. I wasn't looking for tons of flavor because we plan on using this for different stuff. What liquid Do you use? And then just throw it in the cupboard?
Yeah I use the same things usually. I wanted to try these things out because I want to be able to throw something on at the cabin and forget about it for an hour until my phone tells me it’s done and what temperature it’s at. I think the Meater is the way to go.Oh wow I had no idea, cool. I've had the Webber igrill for a long time and it's pretty good. Bluetooth so limited range and its wired sensors. Pretty cool technology though. Charges in 3 minutes and last like 4 hours in the meat. It works on a resistor instead of a battery I guess.
Early supper!! Looks delicious but where's the mash potatoes??My wife whipped up some nice looking yorkies to go with the roast beef tonight
Fine by me. I'd rather a pile of yorkies than taters any day.She pre bakes the yorkshires and they get reheated when the roast is near done.
She didn't want double carbs last night.
No no. It's quite simply beat by three of those gravy mops. LET THE DEBATE BEGIN!Ohhhhh..... hmmm a good garlic mash potatoes can be tough to beat
