My second time to the Island. Wonderful place ,

Last time I was there I got to meet John and Jane Crosbie and had a great chat with them.

Have ridden my MC to Goose Bay then down to Blanc Sablon , and took the ferry across the top of the Gulf before riding home. Great trip just under 2 weeks of riding, was chased by a wolf south of Goose Bay in a area of poorly maintained roads. Tight sphincter moment

Yes, I did, he was the nicest guy. He also gave me all the guide gear which was pretty sweet so now I got 4 Islanders and custom rods which are far too nice for me. Seriously a great guy.

Curtis is a great guy, great guide in the freshwater, fly fishing, I’ve fished with him a few times.also a great hunter

Rewired my riggers after reading the wiring thread. Never really though much of it as the previous owner had them done. Went and looked and it was either 16ga or an undersized 14. Just upgraded to 2106 riggers so I figured it was crucial to get done. Also re-mounted my bench seat backs as when they were done at the factory, they had the end of the piping for the boarder mounted facing up which looked pretty unprofessional to me. T minus 3 weeks till she hits the salt. Also had a commercial buddy bring me home some sockeye leftovers for crab/hali bait. So I had to sort through that

My mother in-law is from Tilting on Fogo....fantastic place. The whole family got to go jig cod one trip. Hand jigging out of a dory...what a blast. And the cod taste soooo good.
