I was going to go 200s but same displacement, nèed higher octane, and no real power difference until the 5000 rpm range. Also quite a bit more money.

Did you go with the 25 high thrust kicker?
9.9 high thrust. My old T8 worked plus didn't need the extra weight. Boat is already starboard heavy
Hung these 300s on last month. 
Pretty well the same performance as the 225 Seapro. Couple mile an hour more top end but otherwise the same performance and mileage.
Went up in pitch to a 19 eco but it was unhappy spinning 2950rpm at 26mph so I swapped back to the 18 eco props I ran on the last set.

Well it is more than this week. More likely many weeks. Ohhhh .... The joys of inboards... Yeah I know....pod it. Bearings around the primary drive shift are being replaced as well as a major refresh to the motor.
Luckily I'm a retired guy with time on my hands and a place to work.

It's nice to have a workshop. Unfortunately it's not at my house but it's close by. It's my mother in laws house that my daughter lives in now.
It's a small shop but very effective. My son is a mechanic so we have a good selection of tools.
I couldn't do all the mechanical repairs we do without this place.
I hear shop rates are up to $189.00.dollars per hour at a Honda dealership.

Well I actually had canvas already, with a bimini soft top. The top was getting pretty threadbare but the sides and back are still in decent shape. Windshield is 3 pieces so doesn't offer very good visibility, so I was already thinking of getting a new one done, either in one piece or two. The hope was to reuse what I can of the existing sides and back pieces, perhaps with a few alterations/additions to make it fit the new structure. Unsurprisingly easier said than done though, so will need to think over my options on that for a while. I used the full canvas only on one trip last season - Port Mcneill in June, when it was raining quite a bit. The rest of the time I just ran with the top and no sides. I found it basically impossible to run at speed with the front windshield in place. So I will need to decide how much I am willing to invest in the canvas at this point.

It's not big, 14'x14' so I need to stay on top of it.
