Just viewed from across the lake. No pics, but Trader's Cove is in crisis. It's coming downhill close to the lake now. Small spots turned into an acre in moments then joined together. It really hasn't rained since July 5 or so.

Apparently traders cove is pretty much toast. It’s crossed bear main and is heading up the other side of the mountain.

Insane how fast it has moved, I have family with 3 homes right in the middle of the evac zone and they sprinted south to Summerland about 10 pm.

One family friend lost his house and they're sheltered in Summerland for now. Cousine in Porcupine crescent was packing last night and expecting an evac order by lunch time today. Crazy weather conditions in the valley today. Stay safe out there.
