Seasport skipper 19 podding project

yes the 1.95-1 ratio is what I am looking for but it must be confirmed by what the riveted nametag behind the u joints says

If you remove the zinc behind the prop shaft and look at the bottom right corner it will show the gear ratio
I can’t see anything in either of those two places that says ratio or any numbers either.
However, I now believe the drive is 2.3:1. I turned the prop shaft 1 full revolution and that turned the u-joint about 2.3 turns.

Motor is out. I prepped it up for the pull and then took it down to Whiskey Creek Marine to be lifted. They have a forklift that is great for the job.

Are you getting them to do build and install the new hatch covers as well? I managed to buy replacement panels from SeaSport in Bellingham, just gave them the HIN and they built them in less than 3 weeks. Cost was 3 k and the cockpit looks like an original OB model
Thanks for that info. I may look into that but think I’m sticking with the local guy as he’s going to do quite a few items and I can watch the progress

Almost ready to pull. Thank the lord above ☝️
We have a 4.3 in our work boat. Kodiak version with fuel injection. Seems to be very reliable. A few more HP, but not super high performance so just keep ticking along.
