Retrieval issue with Penn 330GT

I've got a one year old Penn that for some reason has started being a problem to retrieve at depth. Its like the clutch mechanism is slipping. Not sure of cause and I can't see anything obvious causing the problem. I know they are not the best reel, but, for the amount of Hali fishing I do they do the trick for now. Any thoughts on cause? Its not obvious to me how I dissemble this reel.

Pescador: it is not a drag washer. There is an internal gear that is worn.its about an inch in diameter, and has one way gears cut into one side. I had the exact same issue with my Penn 320 GT. Super irritating as its hard to replicate the slipping on dry land; it usually acts up under load, and usually while fishing! I took it in three times for repair, to no avail. I just about tossed it over board I was so mad. Talk to Mike at River Sportsman; he figured out the problem. He's not always in, as he also guides. They had the gears for right handed reels in stock; they had to order mine in special as the 320 GT is a left handed reel.
