Yes there were fish, and seals. Hooked up to one at 140 feet on green onion and homeland security and within 20 seconds of reeling it in it took off. I couldn't gain on it at all for about a minute and eventually it surfaced a couple hundred yards behind me with a seal on its back. It then took the last few feet of my freshly spooled 300 yards of line. I got the battle on gopro. Not the first time I got sealed at the hump. All was forgotten at 4:35 when I landed a 13.5# on anchovie and Chartreuse flasher at about 130 feet. I was fishing the eastern tip of the hump. I'm happy to start the season with a healthy hat trick (7 keeper crabs and ~150 prawns).
