How to unload Chinese tin boats

The point I am trying to make is a lot bash the boat before even looking at one, lots of overpriced production boats being sold here both Glass and tin, in my experience the bigger outfits are all about profit ( they really don’t give a rats butt what they are pushing) as long as they sell and make a profit, whoever thinks otherwise is delusional, it’s up to the buyer to decide, you spend 100k or 30 k for the same size boat, some are happy to fish out of a 30k boat and some need the 100k boat, the china built thing is kind of stigma we all have, but let’s be real china suplies a lot of our everyday stuff and lots is fine , lots is crap, example on my side Milwaukee tools, I own thousands of $ worth , I just dropped of a bunch for repairs ( warranty and broken parts) guess what they are waiting for parts, parts are from china lol, Oh really the American icon Milwaukee tools parts are coming from china ???does that make Milwaukee a piece of s…. Tool ????IMO no it’s the best on the market. Again this was an example, if you think your local bought boat component are made in Canada or the the US you need to educate yourself, same goes for quality of the welders welding your tin boat some are good some are bad and bigger outfit don’t give a dam who’s welding it as long as it sells

100 percent agree.

Also, I have 2 red seal trades under my belt, both revolving around welding and metal and I wouldn’t own a KF. I also live in the valley they are built in. I’ve seen some interesting cases with them. They have a hard time keeping good welders employed. Any boat manufacturer that doesn’t cover up the center of their last whip/pulse/dab isn’t worth owning.
I'm looking into a kingfisher- can you elaborate further? What alternatives would you suggest? Was considering a KF 2025 HT

the KF will be like $30-40K cheaper at ~$90K list than Hewescraft. idk if hewes has that much better quality (at least not $40K worth).
ive not had any issues to complain about on my KF after 6 years so YMMV. no welds have cracked or split even with taking her into fairly nasty ocean conditions. https://www.boattrader.com/boat/2024-kingfisher-2025-escape-ht-9319292/
I really liked the feel of the bigger 28+ Hewes over the KF at the boat show. For whatever that's worth.

Not to hate as I know next to nothing about these hulls but I did see a new one sink while tied to the dock this week. Assumption was a through hull fail or cracked weld. No access below hull so makes for tough inspections.
Did they figure out what failed and caused it to sink?

Bigger boat than the kingfisher. Play each dealer off each other. Kingfisher is trying to sweeten the pot with kickers on their bigger models.

What do you mean by play each dealer off? Never bought brand new before. Wondering if boat Show would be a good place. **Sorry if I'm taking this off topic - can start a new thread**

Was going to head to GA since they have a deal apparently on the searunner! Thanks @kaelc for that boat recommendation
Boat show is a great place, you get to see all the boats side by side, nit pick all the brands and price then go from there, I’ve never bought a new boat do you get to sea trial it??? Asking for guys who have bought new ??? Honest question, I know if I did not sea trial some potential boats I would have been stuck with real a…. Ridding boats lol
