Good God. Stanley Cup??? They won't even make the playoffs in the foreseeable future!!! Useless coach, useless GM and now a useless team.
 
Gill made some huge mistakes!!!
1-He should not hire a coach John Trollatilia
2- Needs 3 or 4 younger stronger forwards for more goals.
3- need 1 -2 young stronger defense
4- keep two good goalies Luongo and Lack.

Looks good.

Gill got screwed up for everything!!!!
 
Vancouver traded Luongo, for a minor leaguer, a 9 goal scorer and gets to pay 15% of Loungo's salary. That Gillis can sure drive a hard bargain.
 
I think we should get rid of Gillis before we make the Kesler trade. Yes the return should be the best right now but based on his trading history can we really trust Mikey.
Can him and get a real GM not a player agent the other GMs have a deal to screw anytime possible.
 
Just saw Gillis' TV interview-a new benchmark for looking lost, clueless, mendacious and generally in way over his head.

Imagine how much worse the games would be if the players were as mediocre as the GM.

x2. Thought he was going to have the jammer. Time to stick a fork in the team. Did you see those scoring stats for top line forwards......zero in God knows how many games. Pathetic excuse for a team. Time for a GM change before there isn't much left How can you trade two top flight goalies and get zippo in return. Pathetic.
 
It's too bad it's not like the old days when the team sucked and the fans could show their displeasure by the emtpy seats.

Nowadays, half the people in the building aren't even there for the game they are there because it's the place you need to be seen.

I lived and died with guys named Lever, Guevremont, Kearns and Schmautz and
now with this management, sorry guys but I hope they tank until they get Gillis out of here.

#firegillis was trending on twitter today...and rightfully so. I think it is obvious to anyone that he will get fired. No way can Aquilini justify keeping him with the fans INSANE outrage at him. I literally don't know a Canucks fan who now doesn't believe he should be fired....knew a couple until about January 10th, now they're all on board.
 
Fans need a new chant at the next home game.. How bout "NEW G M, NEW G M, NEW G M!!!" or how bout "NO MORE MIKE, NO MORE MIKE!!" Think he would get the message then.
 
Now Gillis says we will have a few dry years before we have a Stanley Cup winner. I guess if you stack your team with 9 goal scorers, conceivably the could evolve into 50 goal scorers. It might have happened in the past. Given Canucks have agreed to pay 15% of Luongo's salary for 7 years, my guess is I will die of old age before they have a winning season again. What a shame. They had so much potential. Guess they need to bring back Brian Burke. A least Gillis has cleared the air and not expect anything from them for 8-10 years. Look out Oilers you'll have competition.
 
Told you long time ago this Gillis was bad news and I thought NO ONE EVER would top what Keenan era did boy was i ever Wrong..........all the *** ups this so called GM has done in 3 years is astonishing to say the least.......
